CD3 identifies mature T cells, excluding B and NK cells. It is key in T receptor signalling. CD4 is expressed on T-helper T cells and some monocytes. It is involved in immune activation. CD8 marks cytotoxic T cells and some NK cells. Assists in adhesion and activation. CD16 is found on NK, neutrophils and monocytes. Together with CD56, it identifies NK cells. CD56 is on NK and some T lymphocytes (CD3⁺CD56⁺). It is essential for detecting NK populations. CD45 marks all leukocytes, useful for differentiating them from non-hematopoietic cells. CD19 identifies B cells, does not react with T, monocytes or granulocytes.

TBNK reagent panel, which includes the combinations CD3 FITC / CD4 PE-Cyanine7 / CD8 APC-Cyanine7 / (CD16+CD56) PE /CD45 PerCP-Cy5.5 / CD19 APC and CD3 FITC /(CD16+CD56) PE / CD45 PerCP / CD19 APC, is intended for in vitro diagnostic use for the qualitative identification of major lymphocyte subsets — T cells (CD3, CD4, CD8), B cells (CD19), and NK cells (CD16+CD56) — in human peripheral blood samples by flow cytometry.
This reagent is effective for direct immunofluorescence staining of human tissue for flow cytometric analysis using 1 test for 10 6 cells.
