This antibody reacts with the CD2-antigen, which is expressed on human T lymphocytes. The monoclonal antibody reacts with all human peripheral T lymphocytes and 90% of the thymocytes. The monoclonal antibody blocks the rosette-formation of human T lymphocytes with sheep erythrocytes.

Uso recomendado

CD2, clone TP1/31, is a mAb intended for the identification/enumeration of human peripheral T lymphocytes and 90% of the thymocytes using FCM. This reagent is effective for direct IF staining of human tissue for FCM analysis using ≤1 μg/10^6 cells.
