This antibody reacts with the CD13-antigen, which is expressed on human monocytes, granulocytes and their precursors and a small population of large granular lymphocytes. The monoclonal antibody reacts with monocytes, granulocytes and with a large number of acute myeloid leukaemia’s (the positivity of this marker relates to worse clinic prognosis).
